A lot of people have asked what songs I used in my video so here they are:
- The first song is from Zelda: Majoras Mask during the Goron Race followed by a short section from Star Wars.
- The next song is the Benny Hill theme song.
- After that the songs are from Mario Kart and Banjo Kazooie.
- Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting for... well the kung fu fighting scene.
- Get Low for the matrix section,
- the Mission Impossible theme, the Montage song from Team America Word Police and then back to the Mission Impossible theme in the catinator then finish off the movie.

A claymation experiment comprised of close to 400 separate frames, each shot with a standard digital camera and combined in Flash.
At the request of many, here are a few more details:
The song is called "Keeping Up With the Kids" and can be found on the Mindless Self Indulgence album "Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy".
The project took about a week to shoot. I used a common plasticine clay found in most arts and crafts stores called Sculpey.
Most of the still frames were left completely untouched aside from a little color adjustment, but I created the vanishing effect using Photoshop by layering different shots taken at the same camera position.
And yes, that's me in the vid. I had to use the timer setting on the cam and then run around the table and sit in the chair for each shot. (Having someone to help me take the pics probably would have helped a bit.)
An alternate version of the vid with music I created myself can be seen at my website, along with all my other work: www.mileskalbach.com
If you dig it, check out my Stay Alive music video for the band Trapt which is also posted on my YouTube page and on my site. It is in the same type of style but with much more of a running narrative to it.
Thanks for checking out my work!
Its finally here! Only took one year. Anyway, this is my second claymation compilation filled with some of my old favourites as well as a lot of new claymations. Hope you enjoy!
Film Notes:
- I took 11040 frames for this animation (not including the credits)

Levi Strauss (1829-1902)
Blue Jeans. No item of clothing is more quintessentially American than the blue jeans invented and perfected in the mid-19th century by Levi Strauss.
In 1853, the 24 year old Strauss left New York for San Francisco, hoping to cash in on the Gold Rush that began in 1849. Along with his sister & brother-in-law, he opened a dry goods store that sold supplies to miners as well as fancy linens etc, to the growing city.
In 1872, Levi received a letter from Jacob Davis, a Nevada tailor. Davis was one of Levi Strauss' regular customers; he purchased bolts of cloth from the company to use for his own business. In his letter, Davis told about the interesting way he made pants for his customers: he placed metal rivets at the points of strain-pocket corners and the base of the fly.
He didn't have the money to patent his process so he suggested that Levi pay for the paperwork and that they take out the patent together. The patent was granted on May 20, 1873 & the first blue jeans were born.
The first jeans came in two styles, indigo blue and brown cotton "duck." Unlike denim, the duck material never became soft and comfortable so it was eventually dropped from the line.
Strauss' utterly practical blue jeans were even embraced by the fashion industry. Levi's® jeans for women were first featured in Vogue magazine in 1935. "Designer jeans" eventually became so popular that in the mid-1970s Calvin Klein® jeans were garnering $12.5 million per week.
Abroad, American jeans (especially Levi's® jeans) were in such demand that in Eastern Bloc countries they became an underground standard of currency.
However down to earth they may originally have been, the blue jeans invented by Levi Strauss became an international phenomenon and an icon of American culture.

Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain. A stop motion clay animation of Mark Twain's Mysterious Stranger. Done by Will Vinton. Censored from some television stations.
"THE ADVENTURES OF MARK TWAIN depicts the author's journey to meet up with Haley's comet (Twain, who was born in a year in which Haley's comet appeared, rightly predicted his death would coincide with its next visit in 1910). Also on board were three stowaways, Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Becky Thatcher, whose presence enabled Twain to tell them such stories as The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County and The Diary of Adam and Eve (which was incorporated into the story). When simple recitations were not possible, plot devices like the Index-O-Vator and Astro-viewer were introduced to permit visits to The Mysterious Stranger and Capt. Stormfield. Like its subject, the film was a showcase of Vinton's career thus far, featuring clay paintings, caricatures, morphing and lip-syncing."
I'd love to hear your comments.
