Radiohead - Knives Out

Radiohead 15 y 16 de Marzo de 2009 Foro Sol, México D.F. * * * * * * * * * * * * * Second single from "Amnesiac" (2001), by Radiohead. Directed by Michel Gondry. The whole video was shot in one take in the same set (quite remarkable considering the scene changes required). Director Michel Gondry said the video was autobiographical, about himself and a girlfriend once he had. However, Thom Yorke said the lyrics were about cannibalism. This video features Emma de Caunes as Thom's girlfriend. The video tryed to interpret the surreal imagery and fit it with the song lyrics. Nevertheless, Radiohead vetoed this video from the Director's DVD release because it was about Gondry's personal life and loosely based on the song. The song was developed during the 18-month Kid A and Amnesiac sessions, and it is legendary for supposedly "having taken 373 days to record". Although "Knives Out" is not similar to Radiohead's earlier rock style as featured on The Bends (1995), it is usually noted as one of the most traditional guitar songs the band has done since 2000. L Y R I C S I want you to know He's not coming back Look into my eyes I'm not coming back So knives out Catch the mouse Don't look down Shove it in your mouth If you'd been a dog They would've drowned you at birth Look into my eyes It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth So knives out Cook him up Squash his head Put him in the pot I want you to know He's not coming back He's bloated and frozen Still there's no point in letting it go to waste So knives out Catch the mouse Squash his head Put him in the pot

Meat Loaf - Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad (With Lyrics)

Baby we can talk all night But that ain't gettin us nowhere I told you everything I possibly can There's nothing left inside of here And maybe you can cry all night But that'll never change the way I feel The snow is really piling up outside I wish you wouldn't make me leave here I poured it on and I poured it out I tried to show you just how much I care I'm tired of words and I'm too hoarse to shout But you've been cold to me so long I'm crying icicles instead of tears And all I can do Is keep on telling you I want you (I want you) I need you (I need you) But-there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you Now don't be sad (Don't be sad) 'Cause two out of three ain't bad Now don't be sad (Cause) 'Cause two out of three ain't bad You'll never find your gold on a sandy beach You'll never drill for oil on a city street I know you're looking for a ruby in a mountain of rocks But there ain't no Coup de Ville Hiding at the bottom of a Cracker Jack box I can't lie I can't tell you that I'm something I'm not No matter how I try I'll never be able To give you something Something that I just haven't got There's only one girl that I will ever love And that was so many years ago And though I know I'll never get her out of my heart She never loved me back Ooh I know I remember how she left me on a stormy night She kissed me and got out of our bed And though I pleaded and I begged her not to walk out that door She packed her bags and turned right away And she kept on telling me She kept on telling me She kept on telling me I want you (I want you) I need you (I need you) But there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you Now don't be sad (Don't be sad) 'Cause two out of three ain't bad I want you (I want you) I need you (I need you) But there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you Now don't be sad (Don't be sad) 'Cause two out of three ain't bad Now don't be sad (Don't) 'Cause two out of three ain't bad Baby we can talk all night But that ain't getting us nowhere

Hustle & Flow - It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp

This is a music video to the Sundance Winner Hustle & Flow for its Acadamy Award-Winning song, "It's Hard Out Here For a Pimp." Apologies for the lip synching being off, it seems that when I import my videos to YouTube the timing goes off, so I had to re-edit it to synch it up, and it's still not perfect (but was the best I could get.)

Jackson Browne - The Load Out / Stay - Live 1978

Jackson Browne - BBC In Concert Live At Shepherd's Bush Theatre, London 1978 Jackson Browne - lead vocal, piano David Lindley - lap steel guitar, vocal (mumbling) Craig Doerge - keyboards Bob Glaub - bass Jim Gordon - drums Rosemary Butler, Doug Haywood - vocals Lyrics: Now the seats are all empty Let the roadies take the stage Pack it up and tear it down They're the first to come and the last to leave Working for that minimum wage They'll set it up in another town Tonight the people were so fine They waited there in line When they got up on their feet they made the show And that was sweet but I can hear the sound of slamming doors and folding chairs And that's a sound they'll never know Now roll them cases out and lift them amps Haul them trusses down and get'em up them ramps 'Cause when it comes to moving me You know you guys are the champs But when that last guitar's been packed away You know I still want to play So just make sure you got it all set to go Before you come for this piano But the band's on the bus And they're waiting to go We've got to drive all night and do a show in Chicago or Detroit, I don't know We do so many shows in a row And these towns all look the same We just pass the time in our hotel rooms And wander 'round backstage Till those lights come up and we hear that crowd And we remember why we came Now we got country and western on the bus, R&B We got disco in eight tracks and cassettes in stereo And we've got rural scenes & magazines We've got truckers on the CB We've got Richard Pryor on the video And we got time to think of the ones we love While the miles roll away But the only time that seems too short Is the time that we get to play People you've got the power over what we do You can sit there and wait or you can pull us through Come along, sing the song You know that you can't go wrong 'Cause when that morning sun comes beating down You're going to wake up in your town But we'll be scheduled to appear A thousand miles away from here People stay just a little bit longer We want to play just a little bit longer Now the promoter don't mind And the union don't mind If we take a little time And we leave it all behind and sing One more song I want you stay just a little bit longer Please, please, please Say you will, say you will .....

When The Lights Burn Out (Original)

IF YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD SOME ORIGINALS: http://www.soundclick.com/chriscendana or check me out on iTunes :) For lyrics AND CHORDS, click more. . . Wrote this yesterday. It's about that friend that you've held a grudge with for such a long time that you forget what the conversation was about. Hope you like! :) Much Love, Chris When The Lights Burn Out By Chris Cendana Copyright 2007 When it's cold, i think of you and things feel like old times And the laughs we had warm me inside my mind is at ease when thinking of you and me Had a fight on our last go round No idea my world would come right down With nothing left to hold It crazy to know, you'd still be there And I want you to know, I'll be here till my hair falls out and shining when the lights burn out I know it's been while but I can't help smile When you turn my world upside down Yes, I know it's been years since we've talked on the phone this long And didn't say who was wrong Let's try to make this right I need some of you in my life Take some time to reflect on the day that our friendship was set aside By the words that got mixed up in my mind A simple flaw is enough to destroy us all I admit I was wrong, but dragging this out too long Was enough for me to write this song And say I'm sorry for all the things I've done. And I want you to know, I'll be here till my hair falls out and shining when the lights burn out I know it's been while but I can't help smile When you turn my world upside down Yes, I know it's been years since we've talked on the phone this long And didn't say who was wrong Let's try to make this right I need some of you in my life When the lights burn out. . .
