Embryonic Journey played live 1996. Kaukonen composed the tune in 1962 as part of a guitar workshop in Santa Clara and included it on 'Surrealistic Pillow' at the band's behest.

Nokia Chairman Jorma Ollila: "Technology is a Great Equalizer" Jorma Ollila, the long serving chairman and CEO of Nokia was in Manhattan today for the announcement of the finalists of Finland's Millennium Technology Award. The event took place at the New York Academy of Sciences. Ollila, who is no longer CEO but holds the title of Chairman at both Nokia and Royal Dutch Shell, was interviewed on stage by Jason Pontin editor of MIT's Technology Review. In summing the global importance of technology, Ollila told Pontin that "if you apply technology properly, it a great equalizer."
